Cynthia • Cynthia keeps Salon 90 humming with a thoughtful eye for how every customer who walks through the door looks as they leave. Cynthia trained as a stylist in the 1990s, first with her father and grandfather. Later, she apprenticed at prestigious salons in Paris and London and at Salon Antoine in Haverford, Pa. She’s at her best styling curly hair, and takes pleasure in cutting hair to the shape of your face and style. Everyone looks good when Cynthia is done!
A fourth-generation stylist, Salon 90 owner Cynthia D’Amico comes from a line of great hairstylists dating back to the 1920s in Old City, Philadelphia. Once known as Nicholas & David, her father and grandfather's names, this 90 Bethlehem Pike location in Chestnut Hill has been a salon since the 1960s.

Bethany • Talented and upbeat, Bethany looks out for your good looks. She’ll recommend the best cut for your lifestyle, and will work with you to keep your hair healthy. She welcomes the opportunity to work with customers of all ethnic hair types, and specializes in thermal keratin straightening. If your hair simply needs repair, Bethany works wonders with color correction and conditioning treatments. Certified in the Deva method for cutting curly hair, she also does highlights, updos, and makeup for weddings, proms, and other special events. She is a 2001 graduate of the Jean Madeline Aveda Institute.

Larry • Larry cuts and styles men and women’s short hair with ease. Larry likes people, and Salon 90 is the perfect place for him to meet and serve everyone in need of a good cut. To keep you in style, Larry keeps current with continuing education seminars and classes on hair-styling trends. He is a 2001 graduate of Jean Madeline Aveda Institute, and has trained with Frederick Fekkai and Oscar Bond.

Grace • graduated from Jean Madeline Aveda Institute of Philadelphia in 2009 and continues to attend classes and workshops. She stays current with trends so she can cater to a wide range of clients. She is motivated, artistic and innovative, and she wants her clients to be satisfied and confident about their hair.

Jennifer • Jennifer’s caring touch helps people relax right away, while her unique energy and expert techniques help people feel better quickly. Jennifer describes her touch as working to find the muscles in need and applying just the right amount of strength to help them—and you—relax.
A massage therapist since 2001, Jennifer is trained in Thai, Swedish, and deep tissue massage. She provides the type of massage you need, making no two sessions alike. Making each session unique also includes options for soothing aromatherapy, hot towels Reiki, and chakra balancing—included in the massage fee.
Jennifer has attended the Institute of Essential Integration, the National Academy of Massage Therapy and Healing Sciences, and the Yandara Yoga Institute. A licensed massage therapist, she is also certified in Thai massage, is a yoga teacher, and as a Reiki master.
